Judge : Mr J. Goulding Once again the arrival into the UK from Malaga-Spain was met by super English warm weather. David and I stopped in the hotel for 2 nights close by to the showground. Upon arrival at the show we were greeted by so many friendly faces from the committee especially Oonagh Gore the President then Sue Wilkinson and not forgetting Malcom Smith, all of these folks still active in our lovely breed and great to see them involved in such a well organized championship show…. I must say overall the Dalmatians were in good size ring and also a shaded area was provided.. Most were in good condition but I have to admit I was struggling in some of my first few classes, more ring craft is needed and some socialization for these young ones. Spotting is becoming erratic and bad evidence of second ticking is very obvious, this needs to be under careful watch. The higher classes were the opposite and it was a pleasure to go over so many champions, they will and can clearly change place's throughout the show calendar year… MPD 1: Lambs Kalsidoni Dexter By Dalpetro…Bold black puppy with a lot to like, dark eye, good head, strong shoulders and correct tail set. Black spotting on white tight based coat, nice head with strong shoulder placement, good second thigh and hocks…. PGD 1 : Story Taylor's Major Tornado At Kesteven…Good black, moved well, correct front and good shoulders, dark eyes and correct tail set. LD 1 :Tingey's Holderness Hillbilly By Dallyador.. Lots to like about this boy, firstly beautiful liver colour and excellent coat shown in great tip top condition. Good shoulder placement and great level
top line right down to correct tail set. Challenged very hard for top honors today but I think with the heat it was getting to him so therefore I had to awarded him RDCC . OD 1 : Goff-Leggett's Washakie Nutcracker Prince… Well what a difference two years can make, I last judge this dog at Leeds and just about placed it and here today it just sparkled quality, Wow . Beautiful
elegant black dog, it caught my eye upon entering the ring. Excellent movement from the rear with powerful drive stunning make and shape especially when in the show positions. Lovely coat shining from head to toe.
Long reach of neck flowing down to correct shoulders and just the perfect size Dalmatian for me. It was indeed a great pleasure to award this Dalmatian my Dog CC & RBOB. VD or VB 1 : Bolts.. Buffrey Belleissimo At Fakenham.. Another well schooled dog and a pleasure to see him stride around the ring. Bold black spots on a white tight based coat, dark eyes, moved with drive from
the rear. MPB 1 : Healey's Hebmor Spice Dice …. Good make and shape puppy, moved well for one so young well schooled and at ease with the handler. Lovely head, nice eyes and lovely expression. BPB PB As above Placing JB 1 : Goff-Leggett's… Mullabuoy Miss Chief Of Washakie. Surprised myself yet again, beautiful black femiene bitch of correct make and shape. Excellent tight white based coat and the darkest of black
spotting. Moved with drive and handled with care. Good shoulder placement, excellent front, long reach of neck flowing down to a correct tail set and good second thigh's. Pleasure to award her RBCC
today and will watch her show career with great anticipation on her becoming a future champion. NB 1 : Clarkes Klarkeson Royal Lace, black bitch with dark eyes, moved well in this class. PGB 1 : Whincups Tamilanda Lilly The Pink, Very feminine black bitch, by far the best handler, so therefore shows the Dalmatian to its maximum qualities and theirs lots to like. Good mover with good
tracking, sweet expression and lovely dark eyes. Good shoulder placement and lovely flowing lines. Good class to win , well done. LB 1 : Tingey's Phaeland Pheonix Phorever By Dallydore, Another beautiful quality Liver , excellent coat , lovely head , good front and second thigh. Moved with drive around the ring, good strong class to
win , well done. OB 1 : CH Christies Sophtspots Snack Crackle N Pop, wow what a class of worthy champions this bitch had to challenge, by far the best class of the day. Excellent quality bitch of great make and shape,
beautiful head and lovely long reach of neck, flowing down to a superb level top line and then onto a correct tail set with also great second thighs. Movement was a joy to watch from all angles around the ring so
she therefore demanded my attention and in doing so I could not deny her the first place and not only that she deserved to challenged the dog cc and was still showing to the end and finally I gave her the award of
BCC and BOB. In the Group ring she went onto win Group 2, I was so proud to have been able to Judge her and then also see her winning Group to was indeed a great honor for me the bitch and the Dalmatian Breed..
