In this entry I thought quality was very mixed. Males continue to be on the tall side & shoulder & upper arm construction is still far from ideal. However, it is coats that now seem to be a growing concern, many lacked the pure white backgrounds some looked positively cream & flecking was certainly in evidence. Given that the spotting is a distinguishing feature for the breed it would be a disaster to let this get any worse. Temperaments were excellent as I would expect but I would urge breeders to watch out for suspect bites & complete dentition as it was very difficult to check these with any certainty on many exhibits.

MPD (3) 1 King's Tamilanda Psychedelic Pink, promising 6 months liver, good head & expression, nice dark eye, good depth of chest, round bone & good feet, well defined wither & good flow of neck into pleasing topline, well set & carried tail, nicely muscled for his age, well marked & moving well. Needs to be more in tune with his handler to show him to best advantage but this will come with experience; 2 Carvell's Lilal Don't Stop Me Now, larger & not so well decorated as 1, appearing plain in head & expression. Decent front, good feet & well ribbed up, covered the ground well; 3 Ingham's Tamilanda Perfect Pink.

PD (6,1a) No doubt these three will change places depending on priorities. 1 Munro's Tanstar Sea The Stars, upstanding & well marked b/s with well broken ears, pleasing head, liked his good straight front, strong round bone & tight well knuckled feet, flowing neckline with well defined wither, topline strong with muscular loin & well angulated hindquarters. Tailset is fine but carries his tail a touch high on the move, hope this settles with maturity. Good showman in stance & on the move; 2 Lewis' Dalpetro D'Artagnan of Hunterswood, not the balance or showmanship of 1 & pigmentation yet to finish which spoils his expression a little. Would like more turn in stifle for more fluid profile movement although his hind movement going away was more accurate & the development of his chest is more advanced than 1; 3 Lamb's Kalsidoni Dexter by Dalpetro.

JD (3) Disappointing class. 1 Ingham's Risdonfarm Rocky, easily the best in the class for type & soundness, nice for size, pleasing head, well broken ears & typical expression, nice strong rounded bone & well developed deep ribcage, carried well back & good feet, well angulated & marked, strong rhythmic mover once in his stride. Not presented in the best of condition & won despite his handler rather than with her. Worth some work; 2 Whitting's Cibrith Captain Kirk, a touch fine all through for a male but compact & nicely balanced. Would prefer more angulation in forehand & hindquarters & carrying his tail a little proudly; 3 Carter's Smudgeco Hands Of Time at Segev.

ND (7) 1 T Psychedelic Pink; 2 Townson & Pardoe's Buffrey Follow That Star, sound & fluid mover & a lovely outgoing showman, good bone & chest but I would just like him cleaner on the neck & shoulder & rather less substantial all through; 3 Ingham's Risdonfarm Rocky.

PGD (8,3) Three nice dogs here. 1 Burrows' Daedalus Deacon Blue at Shacarlu, won the class on his soundness, lovely for type & balance, good head & expression, well marked with well broken ears & a bright white coat, good depth of chest & well sprung ribcage, arched neckline into decent shoulder & muscular loin, good rounded bone & tight well knuckled feet, well angulated hindquarters & well defined hocks, tail well set & carried, attentive showman, in excellent muscular condition & very fluid in action; 2 Story Taylor's Major Tornado at Kesteven, close decision as liked his type & balance & many of the same remarks apply, good head & eye, clean neckline, good bone & front, just not so good in feet as 1, is very fluid on the move & covers the ground well carrying his tail correctly; 3 Rose's Candidals Run Forest Run.

LD (7) 1 McCarthy's Kilndandyold Copper, liked this liver very much, lovely for type & substance with lovely flowing topline & depth & strength to his chest, pleasing masculine head without coarseness, well broken ears, good eye & expression & an attentive showman who has the stamp of quality written all over him, good shoulder, bone & feet, well turned stifle & good width to thigh, lithe & muscular throughout & in excellent coat & body condition, moved well coming & going & covered the ground effortlessly in profile. RCC; 2 Kazana's Dalzana King of Joppa, lightly marked & against 1; 3 Alcock's Mapplewell Chocolate Box for Dalpartan.

OD (7,1) 1 Goff Leggett's Washakie Nutcracker Prince, liked him as a puppy & did not disappoint almost two years on, has a stamp of quality & look of athleticism & elegance missing in so many, his brilliant white coat gleamed with well being & condition, lovely for size & overall balance, not as developed in chest yet as 2 but he is younger & was out moving him with ease, handsome head with good ear & eye placement, dark eye & soft expression, lovely neckline into well defined withers & strong well muscled loin, well angulated hindquarters, good tailset & carriage, well developed second thigh & hocks strong & well let down, easy fluent mover, covering ground & presented in top class order. CC & BOB; 2 Stock's Ch Dalmark The Shaded Moon at Nospar, another I have done well before, perhaps more masculine in outlook than 1 but he is very much more mature, well balanced with excellent deep ribcage & strong loin, lovely white coat & well marked. Not showing his best on the move, particularly up & down where he lacked straightness & in the challenge for the RCC became lethargic. A shame as I know he can go so well when he wants to; 3 Lamb's Dalpetro Dettori.

MPB (8,1) Nice class headed by four quality babies all of whom I consider very promising for the future. 1 Dunn & Spindley's Tamilanda Pink Sherbert, lovely attentive showgirl, of ideal size & really well balanced with good front & feet, nice round bone & well sprung ribcage, feminine in head, classy & elegant in body, flowing neckline into good topline & strong loin, brilliant white coat to show off her good markings, won the class on her soundness in the final run-off; 2 Petersen's Dalimese Who's That Girl at Daedalus, very close up & for most of the class thought her the winner, appeals hugely for type, size & personality, lovely clear white coat & nicely marked, lovely head & eye, presents a lovely picture standing with good angulation behind & is very eyecatching in profile on the move, covering the ground effortlessly. Just inclined to overreach behind which affected her straightness coming & going but sure to do well in the future; 3 Goodswen's Tamilanda Pink Angel from Alphadal.

PB (3) 1 Wright's Boutonneux Artemis of Millbelle, classy puppy who has real quality in depth, ideal for size, has depth to her chest & a well sprung ribcage, beautiful round bone, lovely feminine head with excellent pigmentation & dark eye, well broken ears & a soft typical expression, lovely clean flowing lines through her neck, shoulder, loin & tail, well angulated hindquarters, well muscled & in super coat & body condition, sound & fluent mover, will watch her mature with interest. BP; 2 T Pink Sherbert; 3 Sheldon's Boutonneux Galathea at Gemmont.

JB (5,1) 1 Goff Leggett's Mullabuoy Miss Chief of Washakie, very typical, good for size & very well balanced, pleasing head & expression, well broken ears, nicely arched neck into well defined wither & good front, well developed ribcage which is well sprung & has good depth & strong topline & loin, round bone, tight feet, good turn of stifle & strong hocks, well let down & well defined, well muscled & in super coat & condition, sound & elegant on the move, covering the ground well; 2 Gibbs' Phadante Dixie Lily, just a little wayward in front movement but one who has a lot to like, more heavily marked but feminine & well balanced with good outline, good bone & feet, pleasing head & neck, maintained a good outline in profile on the move & covers lots of ground with ease; 3 Willis' Cibrith Constellation.

NB (8) 1 T Pink Sherbert; 2 Baker's Klarkeson Royal Mint; 3 Page's Winflash The Final Magic.

PGB (11) 1 Swindell's Pjasdals Cwite Special, a real charmer this liver, lovely for size & very feminine in head, liked her pigmentation, good bone & feet, good clean neckline, defined wither & really good depth of chest, well marked, well muscled up & well angulated which showed on the move. Would like her coat a shade whiter; 2 Whincup's Tamilanda Lilly The Pink, nice head but rather lightly marked all through, especially on her head, which spoilt her expression somewhat. Nicely balanced in body & of nice size, well set tail & strong, well muscled hindquarters which are well angulated, a sound fluent mover but not so precise coming & going as 1; 3 Cheetham's Koroyza Cute As Candy for Dollywood.

LB (8) Difficult class, several I liked were out of coat or suffering Dally rash & had to pay the penalty. 1 Lamb's Delpetro Desdemona, such a sound & typy bitch, nice for size, very well constructed with the best shoulder of the day & clean flowing lines through her neck, shoulder & topline, deep, well sprung ribcage, good bone & tight feet, very well marked with dense black spotting. Perhaps could be more of a showgirl to take her to higher awards but in excellent muscle & coat condition & moved with freedom & fluency holding a good outline; 2 Wright's Angelic Aphrodite for Millbelle, quality bitch with good head & eye, well marked & covering the ground well in profile, good bone, well defined wither & clean neckline. Would like her feet tighter. Enough spring & spring of rib, certainly more showy than 1, but could not match her front assembly; 3 Neath Duggan's Buffrey Gift Wrapped.

OB (8) Liked all of the five placed but the first two stood away for the top honours in bitches by some margin. 1 Neath Duggan's Ch Buffrey Sprig O Mint, top quality from head to toe & a super showgirl, such a classical feminine head, dark eye, lovely ear placement & excellent pigmentation, her expression just captivated me, glorious dense b/s on a brilliant white coat, lovely forehand, super round bone, good width to chest & tightest of feet, very elegant in outlook, has required substance in chest, loin & hindquarters & in top class coat, muscle & body condition, well set tail, carried correctly, sound, powerful & free on the move. CC; 2 Alexander's Ch Offordale White Lady, ran 1 very close & many of the same remarks apply, but just could not beat 1 in expression & I thought her feet not quite as tightly knuckled. Very well made, tightly knit with strong loin & so beautifully balanced with flowing topline & in good coat & condition, well marked & dense black spots on excellent background, an attentive showgirl, sound & covering the ground well in motion, is a very worthy ch of super quality & type. RCC; 3 Clarke's Ch Mapplewell Double Take by Klarkeson.
