Judge : Mrs N. Forrest
Thank you, exhibitors, for a most enjoyable day. It was a joy to meet all of your dogs and a privilege to be able to go over dogs I have long admired from the ringside and all those that were new to me.
My ring was an excellent size and gave the dogs the opportunity to show off their movement. The sun did not exactly shine on us, but we all stayed dry and the cloudy skies at least meant that the dogs stayed
comfortable, even if judge and exhibitors were a little blue round the edges!
Size, especially in the dogs, was greatly at variance, and fronts too seem to have worsened in the two years since I last judged. I was delighted, however, to be greeted by most with typical Dalmatian
exuberance. I was very pleased not to find many coarse heads and coat condition was in the main excellent.
MINOR PUPPY DOG (3, 0)
1.Lewis's Dalpetro D'artagnan at Hunterswood. 7 month old compact B/W dog. Beautiful clear coat with well defined spotting. Little immature in head at present but plenty of time for development.
Otherwise very pleasing in confirmation. Good depth of chest, tight feet, tail correctly set and carried to advantage. Moved soundly.
2.Lambs' Kalsidoni Dexter by Dalpetro. Another 7 months old B/W dog but built on a much larger frame. Handsome head with appealing expression. Nicely decorated, but coat needs to clear, which will
hopefully come with maturity.
