I feel the breed is in general looking good. There are some promising youngsters in the wings. As always compromises had to be made, particularly in coat condition & movement which remains poor even in some placed!

MPD (14,5a) 1 Johnson's Tynevale The Tease, very nice liver baby, loved his outline & general balance, lovely head & eye colour, excellent front & feet, so well schooled for a baby & very positive on the move. BPD; 2 Fort's Shulune Ice Phantom, very stylish puppy, clean outline, scored for head & expression, well spotted, strong quarters, moved to advantage; 3 Alexander's Offordale Chevalier.

PD (3) 1 Scott's Dalendale Sinaloa, pleasing black spotted, dark eyes, good shoulders, enough bone. Could tighten a little in front but that said he moved well both ways; 2 Brindley's Dalamanti Precious Opal, when this dog settled he moved well & overall he is well made. Not the spotting of 1 & he needs to make better use of his ears.

JD (3,2) 1 Cliff & Hipkiss' Boutonneux Apollo, caused his handler a headache as he is so full of himself. Attractive eyecatcher, big bold dense spotting on a clear background, plenty of bone, good shoulders, body & quarters, moved well when settled. Would prefer tighter feet & his handler must settle him as he moves into the higher classes.

YD (7) 1 B Apollo; 2 Dodds & Pearson's Kelevra Hudson Hawk, black of quality, lovely head & eye, excellent pigmentation, presents a crisp outline on the move where he scores coming & going. Just wish he had more animation & projected himself better; 3 Whiting's Cibrith Captain Kirk.

ND (5,1) 1 Ingham's Risdonfarm Rocky at Dalmardream, black, scored for depth of spotting over 2. Liked his head & expression, balanced front & rear, moved OK; 2 Hitchens & Livermore's Tyrodal Special Feature, quite steady mover but needs to tighten in front on the stack & is a shade long in muzzle.

PGD (5,3) 1 Croft's Koroyza Candy Man, lovely headed dog, good eyes & pigment, excellent neck & shoulders, tight feet, good depth to body which is balanced & in firm muscular condition, steady mover; 3 R Rocky at D.

LD (7,2) Strong class. 1 Burrows' Daedalus Deacon Blue at Shacarlu, bold spotted black, excellent pigmentation, lovely head & eyes, very good bone & feet, strong body, firm topline & good tailset, very well made behind where he scored over 2, moved with drive & reach. CC, his second. To be hypercritical he could shed a couple of pounds over his shoulders which would present a crisper outline; 2 Christie's Sophtspot Abracadabra, good dog & close up to 1, cleaner outline & in hard condition, liked his head & expression, good angulation, moved very well. Not quite the drive going round of 1. RCC; 3 Adderley's Leiahart Chicago Bear.

OD (5,3) 1 Goff-Leggett's Ch Washakie Nutcracker Prince, very elegant black, when stacked has a lovely outline, good overall balance. Would prefer more masculinity & could have settled better on the move; 2 Hartley & Griffiths' Ch Creaganbrec The Favourite at Miragua, lovely headed dog, big bold spotting, good depth of body, firm topline, strong quarters, good hind action. Very loose in front.

MPB (18,5) 1 Dunnachie's Dvojica Vote For Me, black baby of quality, better together than the rest in the class, lovely head & eye of good colour, well spotted, good bone & feet, strong quarters where she scored over 2 Chance & Dodds' Dvojica Vivid Vocation, litter sister to 1 & showing lots of promise. Much more of a baby than 1 but nothing wrong with that. Has all the essentials & a bright future; 3 Alexander's Offordale Sapphire.

PB (11,4) 1 Goodswen's Tamilanda Pink Angel from Alphadal, loved this puppy, gorgeous head & eye, excellent pigmentation, clean neck & shoulders, good bone & feet, well made body, topline & tailset, excellent mover. BP; 2 Petersen's Dalimese Who's That Girl at Daedalus, presented well. Not quite as feminine as 1 but well made body with good balance, moved well; 3 Goodswen's Tamilanda Pink Asterism from Alphadal.

JB (6,1) 1 Quayle's Cubalibre Spot On, very elegant black, lovely head & eye, reachy neck, good shoulders, bone & feet, good depth to body, firm topline & correct tailset, strong quarters, moves so well particularly in profile, crisp clean outline. A beautiful bitch. CC & BOB; 2 Pickup's Roadcoach Rose The One, more substance than 1 & good on the move. Well balanced & scores for size. Just lacks a little animation, needs to project herself more; 3 Baker's Klarkeson Royal Mint.

YB (6) 1 Dodds & Pearson's Kelevra Mercury Rising, elegant black, good balanced head, expressive eyes of good colour right through, body is balanced & she projects herself much better than her brother. Sound mover though a little lethargic; 2 Page's Winflash The Final Magic, liked this bitch but her coat let her down. Good balance, well angulated, good reach & drive when moving; 3 Goff-Leggett's Mullabuoy Miss Chief of Washakie.

NB (8) 1 Wright's Boutonneux Artemis of Millbelle, liked this bitch, particularly her head & eye. Clean neck & shoulders with enough bone for her size, outmoved the rest of the class; 2 Cobb-McGill's Kalokairies Eye Candy, bigger right through, bold spotting, excellent pigmentation. More settled here than an earlier class; 3 Addy's Creaganbrec Evie Rose.

PGB (7,2) 1 Whincup's Tamilanda Lilly The Pink, very elegant black, ultra feminine, scores for head & expression, good bone & feet, deep body, firm topline, strong quarters, excellent mover, lovely outline maintained on the move; 2 Dinsdale's Koroyza Candy Floss at Dalesbred, black, excellent pigmentation, lovely expression, well made body, good angulation, good front extension. A little close going away; 3 Thorner's Tolutim Drambuie.

LB (18,5) 1 Whincup's Tamilanda Hot Pink, well made liver of good colour, scored in head & eye, well constructed front assembly so displayed good reach on the move, body is deep with plenty of heartroom, strong firm topline, a quality bitch; 2 Neath-Duggan's Buffrey Gift Wrapped, very nice black, loved her head & expression, scores for overall balance in body, liked her going away. A little unsettled in front; 3 Evans' Fiacres First And Formost.

OB (5,1) 1 Cuthbertson's Ch Kalsidoni Garnet, very smart black, looked very well, scored in front over 2. Very clean lines & a crisp outline, particularly well maintained on the move where she is positive both ways. RCC; 2 Dunnachie's Ch Dvojica Voulez Vous, lovely head & eye, deep pigmentation, good overall balance, looked good stacked & going away. A little light in front action; 3 Neath-Duggan's Ch Buffrey Sprig 'O' Mint.
