Bitches
What a great day! My thanks must go to all the exhibitors, my two stewards, Ian Tilson and Gail Williams, and the officers and committee for a very well run show. I found most
exhibits to be in good coat and with excellent temperament. The majority moved well with just the odd occasion of tracking in one or two of them. I do think that some of the bitches are becoming a bit too tall,
something I feel should be carefully considered when planning a litter in our wonderful breed.
Minor Puppy 6 entries, 2 absent
1st Guilfoyle's Dalpetro Duchess to Hunterswood
Just 6 months, old black spotted with good potential, she has a nice head and good dark eyes. Strong bone and good bend of stifle she moved very well with a lot of drive for such a youngster. Best Puppy bitch
& Best Puppy in Show. 2nd Sheldon's Boutonneux Galathea at Gemmont Another promising black spotted girl. Well balanced with nice even spotting, dark eyes and a good level topline which she maintained on
the move but just lacked the drive of the winner. 3rd Pickup's Roadcoach Rose The One

forechest, lovely head and reach of neck who moved well but just lacked a little in drive. 2nd Gibbs' Phaante Dixie Lily another 11 months old black spotted girl with very pleasing head and overall shape,
dark eyes and good topline but just let herself down a little on today's movement. 3rd Sheldon's Boutonneux Galathea at Gemmont

Lovely, feminine liver bitch in excellent condition. Good depth of brisket, well sprung ribs and strong over the loin, she moved effortlessly and did not put a foot wrong.

today's winner. 3rd Page's Winflash the Final Magic

1st Dore's Dalidor Ace of Diamonds JW Appealing black spotted girl presented in excellent condition with good
bone, a nice head and lovely topline. She moved well on tight 'cat' feet and pushed hard for top bitch. 2nd Stanton & White's Sophtspot Barley Sugar
Nice liver spot, again in really good condition, with lovely amber eyes. A level topline flowing into good tailset but movement lacked drive today.
Maiden Bitch 3 entries, 2 absent
1st Pickup's Roadcoach Rose The One This black spotted girl was third in minor puppy but is a very nicely marked girl with good head and conformation. Still very young but just needs time to settle, one to keep
an eye on.
Novice Bitch 5 entries, 1 absent
1st Smallwood's Lascelles Lady Marmalade 2nd Whincup's Tamilanda Hot Pink Loved the head and overall shape of this liver spotted bitch who
maintained lovely level topline as she moved with drive on tight cat feet. 3rd Pickup's Roadcoach Rose The One
Graduate Bitch 10 entries, 1 absent
1st Whincup's Tamilanda Lily the Pink JW
moved freely around the ring but just lacked the drive I was expecting to see. Lovely head with dark eyes, well defined withers and good bend of stifle, good deep chest and level topline held on the move. Pushed
hard for Best Black bitch. 2nd Whiting's Cibrith China Aster Nicely marked liver bitch with lovely dark amber eyes. Good front and well placed shoulders, moderate bend of stifle but moved well, just
lacking drive. 3rd Dinsdale's Koroyza Candy Floss at Dalesbred
Post Graduate Bitch 4 entries,

Well muscled liver bitch with good shoulders and forearm down to nice, tight feet. Showed of her lovely, level topline as she moved with drive around the ring.
2nd Tingey's Phaeland Phoenix Phorever by Dallydor JW Good reach in neck, nice deep chest, well defined withers and good bend of stifle in this liver bitch but her movement today was not as good as the winner.

1st Haywood-Ridgeway's Luccombe Hazelnut Cluster Liver bitch with excellent overall balance, good depth of brisket,
well sprung ribs and nice reach of neck and good topline. She moved really well with drive. 2nd Harrison-Stratford's Dalkereve Dark N Divine JW Another liver bitch with good lay of shoulder, nice topline
and excellent tailset. She also moved well and challenged hard for first place. Another day they could easily have changed places. 3rd Dinsdale's Dalesbred Mariette
Special Junior Veteran Bitch 6 entries, 2 absent
1st Page's Ch Winter Magic JW The last time I judged this 8 years old black bitch was as a puppy and time does not seem to have caught her up as she still
flows around the ring. Good overall balance with a lovely head and level topline. Best veteran Bitch 2nd Hipkiss Ch Dalkiss Isla of Iona JW
9 years old liver bitch in good condition, nicely balanced with good head, shoulders and tight feet. Her movement was good but that extra year just made her loose out to the winner.
3rd Baker's Oneowun Eternal Flame
Special Senior Veteran 6 entries, 1 absent
1st Garton's Ir/Int Ch Kasara Truly Scrumptious I have a soft spot for our golden oldies and this 11 years old liver
lass did not let me down. Still nicely balanced with a good head, dark amber eyes and strong pasterns and tight feet she moved really well around the ring. 2nd Sheldon's Gemmont Mystical Magic I have been
in the ring with this 10 years old black bitch many times and she is another not showing her age. Nicely marked with good head and shoulders she also moved well and it was a close decision.
3rd Richardson's Dalmark Moon Europa JW
Brace 5 entries, 4 absent
1st Tingey's These two well constructed liver girls were a joy to watch. They moved in unison and made a perfect pair. Well
handled, very well done.
