• SKC 2011 Judged by Mrs N Fleming

My first judging appointment at this level. A very good entry , few absent with the majority presented in excellent condition and a friendly nature. Wet and very windy which seemed to spook a few but again most exhibits just got on with it. One interesting observation, some very short tails and some dogs carrying their tail upright which totally spoilt the overall picture and it is also a breed fault. I was extremely pleased with my winners and over the moon to see my BCC & BOB Mrs B Quayle's Ch Cubalibre Spot On JW - winning the Utility Group under Miss C A Harwood.

Puppy Dog (3)
1) Miss DE & Mr J Todhunter & Robinson's Millbelle Young Gun- 7mnths L/D. Well boned and strongly built youngster. Good head and eye colour, correct bite, good reach of neck into correct laid shoulders. Good straight front and tight feet, ribs well sprung .Very good body shape for his age, good top-line and correct tail carriage, good rear angulations with well let down hocks. Moved well. Nicely marked ,excellent temperament BP
2) Mrs J R Barrett's Kirkham Apollo B/D. Finer in bone than, Nice head and expression, good eye colour, elegant reach of neck .good straight front ,Held top-line well on the move with the correct tail carriage. Good rear angulations. Very nicely spotted

Junior Dog (4-1)
1)Mrs J Alexander's Offordale Chevalier. 12mnths B/D. Strong boned and build. Super head ,correct ear carriage , dark eyes, scissor bite. Good reach of neck into excellent lay of shoulders ,a pronounced sternum and a really good front with super feet, capacious and deep chest, good top-line and croup going on to correctly set on tail. Very good rear angulations and well let down hocks. Well muscled, Moved with drive. Excellent temperament .A Serious contender for top honours
2) Miss L J & Miss JM Barrett & Fort's Shulune Ice Phantom of Dalamanti NAF TAF. 14mnths B/D Strong masculine dog, Good head, nicely set on ears, dark eye, good reach of neck into good layback of shoulder. good front and feet, good depth of brisket ,good top-line and tail carriage. Well muscled. Moved well. Tad out of coat.

Yearling Dog (5-1) 1) Mrs J Alexander's Offordale Chevalier.
2) Mrs A Munro's Tanstar Sea the Stares,B/D Nice head, kind eye, good reach of neck, good front and feet, good chest, nicely spotted .good temperament.
3) Ms C A & Mr S A Dodds & Pearson's Heaven Sent Phreeman with Dalissm

Post Grad (4) 1) Mrs M,Mr A & Mr WF Holburn's Glenlion Bowmore Bounder. L/D. What a super dog. Everything in proportion. Lovely head & expression ,correct amber eye colour & ear set. Correct bite, Lovely reach of neck into well laid shoulder. Super front and feet. Deep chest with well sprung ribs. Correct top-line, croup and tail set .Good strong rear angulations and well defined hocks, really well muscled, nicely marked. Super temperament. Moved with plenty of drive. RDCC . Pity he came up against a dog in top form in the challenge.
2) Ms C A & Mr S A Dodds & Pearson's Kelevra Hudson Hawk. B/D a bit smaller and finer in statue than 1 but of good shape and size. Good dark eye and correctly set on ears. Kind expression. Good front assembly, straight front and tight feet. Well developed chest.
3) Mr J F & Mrs P Moate's Major Sheer Will at Sundown

Limit Dog (3-1) 1) Mrs L Croft's Doubtwell Show Stopper JW B/D plenty of bone. Good head and expression. Dark eye. scissor bite- Good reach of neck into well laid back shoulders. Good front and feet. Deep capacious chest ,very good top-line, croup and correct tail set. Very good rear angulations and well let down hocks. Nicely marked. Moved out really well. Good temperament
2) Mrs B Quayle's Buffrey The Shaded Sun at Cubalibre B/D Nice shape, strong boned. Good head, a bit light in eye, Good reach of neck into good shoulder and good straight front with tight feet. Deep chest, Good top-line .Moved well. Good temperament

Open Dog (5-1)
1) Mrs K Goff-Leggett's Ch Washakie Nutcracker Prince JW. B/D. What a dog. Elegant but yet masculine .Outline from tip of nose to tail- all in proportion. Strongly built dog, plenty of bone, wonderful head and expression , dark eye, scissor bite ,elegant long neck going into correct lay of shoulders giving a pronounced sternum. Excellent front and feet. Deep capacious chest with well sprung ribs. Super top line, croup and correct tail set, strong rear angulations with well let down hocks which allowed him to move with tremendous reach and drive. Well developed muscles ,Pure white coat with blackest of black spotting, Great temperament DCC
2) Mrs C Burrows Daedalus Deakon Blue at Shacarlu. B/D. Nice make and shape, heavier in head & body than 1.Good reach of neck going into good lay of shoulder -strong straight front and tight feet, Good depth of brisket .Good top line and tail carriage. Good rear angulations , good on the move
3) Mrs FCT & Mr JM Hartley & Griffiths Ch Creaganbrec The Faviourite at Miragua JW.

1) Miss J M Fort's Shulune Fantasy Snap Dragon. 14 mnths L/B lovely feminine head, full of expression, good eye colour and correct ear set. Correct bite -Elegant reach of neck into correct shoulder placement. Straight front and good feet , good strong bones. Good depth of brisket, spring of ribs, good top line, of good size, lightly marked, excellent temperament.
2) Mr D & Mrs J Peterson's Dalimese Who's That Girl at Daedalus. B/B of good make and size. Nice head with dark eyes, correct ear set, good reach of neck into well laid shoulders .Good front and feet, good top-line and good rear angulations. moved well.

1) Mrs B Quayle's Ch Cubalibre Spot On JW..What a stunner. This young bitch oozes quality, Correct make,shape and size , so well constructed. Beautiful feminine head with darkest of eye, correct ear set, full of expression. Scissor bite, Elegant reach of neck into correct lay of shoulder, prominent sternum, super straight front and tight feet. Capacious, deep chest with well sprung ribs. Correct strong top line, croup and tail carriage. Super rear angulations & well let down hocks which gave her a tremendous drive from front and rear. Really well muscled & good second thigh. Outstanding bitch. Super temperament. Pure white and intense black spotting. (I really did not know this was the daughter of my DCC ) BCC. BOB and G1

1) Mr D & Mrs J Smallwood's Lascelles Lady Marmalade L/B. Classy type. Lovely feminine head, Expressive amber eyes, good ear set, Scissor bite, reachy neck into well laid shoulders. Good front and rear angulations. Tight feet and good straight front. Good depth of brisket. Good top line and tail carriage. good temperament. Would have liked a bit more animation on the move but she moved well
2) Mrs K Goff-Leggett's' Mullaboy Miss Chief of Washakie JW B/B. Graceful fem bitch. Good head and expression .Lovely dark eye, correct bite, good reach of neck .good shoulders and front. Nicely angulated at the rear .good feet. Moved well.
3) Miss L Barrett's Marricdale The gold digger of Dalamanti

1) Mr & Mrs J Smith's Tamilanda Pretty In Pink JW ShCm. Lovely feminine B/B. Lots of quality. Beautiful head, full of expression. Dark eye and correct ear set. Elegant neck into well laid back shoulders .pronounced sternum. Lovely straight front with tight feet .Deep chest with well sprung ribs. Good strong loin ,super top line, good croup and correct tail carriage on the move .Super rear angulations with well defined hocks. Moved with such determination and drive. good temperament. RBCC . Gave my BCC a real run for her money
. 2) Miss J Wright's Boutonneux Artemis of Millbelle JW. Another classy L/B. Compact, well boned. Nice head, good eye and ear set. Good reach of neck into good lay of shoulder. Correct front and good feet. Good depth of brisket , good top line and tail carriage .Moved really well. Good temperament

Moved really well. Nicely marked and good temperament
