My general impression of the breed was I felt heads & movement had improved, although in some of the males tail carriage has to be looked at. Also dirty teeth, once again the males were at fault.
Temperaments were fine.
PD (1) 1 Todhunter & Robinson's Millbelle Young Gun, 7½ months liver, nice head, good reach of neck. Topline, tail carriage & movement were OK.
JD (4) 1 Alexander's Offordale Chevalier, black spotted, good topline & rear angulation, movement good, well presented. At 13 month has time on his side. Quite a nice dog; 2 Johnson's Tynvale
The Tease, ran 1 close. Good head & angulation, moved well. Topline not quite as good as 1 but lots to like, overall a nice dog.
ND (1) 1 Barrett's Kirkam Appollo, good head, nice expression. Shade light in bone. Nicely spotted, movement OK, not a bad dog.
PGD (5) 1 Munro's Tanstar See The Stars, nice front & feet, spotting was quite good, movement OK. Deserved to win the class; 2 Holborn's Glenlion Bowmore Bounder, liver spotted, head &
topline OK. Movement could be better. Well handled overall, not a bad dog.
LD (5) 1 Croft's Koroyza Candy Man, quite a nice dog, good head, nice reach of neck. Topline, tail carriage & movement OK, well handled; 2 Dodds & Pearson's Kelevra Hudson Hawk, smaller type
but quite nice head, topline & movement OK. Could have made more of himself which would have been to his advantage.
OD (9) 1 Stock's Ch Dalmark The Shaded Moon at Nospar, very nice well spotted liver, nice head, good reach of neck, good bone & topline, moved & showed really well, lots to like. CC &
BOB; 2 Hartley & Griffiths' Ch Creaganbec The Favourite at Miragua, nice head, dark eye, good make & shape, very nice dog. Little between 1 & 2, feel sure they will change places. RCC. Without doubt the
best two males on the day.
PB (3) 1 Beeston's Olbero One Copper Charm for Sanadal, liver, nice puppy. Head, spotting & movement all good, lots to like. Needs a little time. BP; 2 Kaal's Olbero One Quicksilver for
Schunikka, litter sister to 1, nice puppy. Head & movement OK. Little out of coat. Should do well when in full bloom.
JB (1) 1 Cobb-McGill's Kalokairies Eye Candy, nicely spotted black, nice head, good topline, moved well, nicely handled, lots to like; 2 Addy's Creaganbrec Evie Rose, very nice, little between 1
& 2. Head, topline, movement all OK, well handled. Needs to make more of herself at times.
NB (3) 1 K Eye Candy; 2 Alexander's Offordale Catalina, nice black spotted bitch, nice head, good reach of neck, movement OK, well handled & presented.
PGB (8) 1 Smallwood's Lascelles Lady Marmalade, very nice liver spotted bitch, lovely head, good topline, tail carriage, good bone, tight feet, moved really well, overall very nice; 2 Sansom's
Camargue Centrepage, nicely spotted black, pretty head, good reach of neck, moved OK. A little unsettled, needs to mature a little. Quite a nice bitch.
LB (8) 1 Whincup's Tamilanda Hot Pink, very elegant liver, lovely head & expression, reach of neck, topline, make & shape all creating a very nice picture. Asked for & got the CC; 2
Dinsdale's Koroyza Candyfloss at Dalesbred, very nice black. Head, topline, lots to like about her. For me I felt her movement just let her down.
OB (8) 1 Neath-Duggan's Buffrey Gift Wrapped, very pretty, lovely head, dark eye, topline & tail carriage all correct, well presented & handled. RCC; 2 Addy's Creaganbrec Rosie Cotton, nice
bitch, nice head, good reach of neck, movement OK. Lots to like about her, well handled.
