Dalmatians

A very good entry to judge with very little between some places. I felt the bitches had more depth than the males. Temperaments were very good. On the negative side a few would benefit from a bath & ticking in the coats is creeping in. It does spoil the look of the dog & difficult to get out.

V (1) 1 Roach's Ch Hebe Aleatory In Holderness, black spotted bitch of 7 years, ideal size, lovely head & eye, strong neck & topline, neat bone & good feet, good clear spotting, moves well.

MPD (2) 1 Todhunter & Robinson's Millbelle Young Gun, sound, attractive liver, liked his size, pleasing head & eye, good neck & bone, tidy topline & strong quarters, stands on good feet. BPD.

PD (2) 1 Roach's Holderness Henman Hill, 12 months black, scored for balance, good in neck & bone, firm quarters, good eye. A little strong in head. Moved well.

JD (8) Good class. 1 Webb & Chrystal's Dalleaf Devil In Disguise at Jemblewood, 12 months black, lovely size, very nice head & eye, excellent neck & front, firm topline & good tailset, firm quarters, liked his rib & body, moves with ease. Should win well; 2 Alcock's Creaganbrec Face Of Beau at Dalspartan, very attractive 14 months liver, liked him for size & balance, very good neck & front, tidy quarters, moved well both ways. A good prospect; 3 Johnson's Tynevale The Tease.

GD (7) 1 Alexander's Offordale Chevalier, very elegant black spotted youngster, lovely head & eye, excellent neck & front, strong bone & good feet, firm in body & topline, nice depth of body, moves out well with an easy stride. Needs time but one who can go to the top; 2 C Face Of Beau at Dalspartan.

PGD (3) 1 Dodds & Pearson's Kelevra Hudson Hawk, black spotted, lovely head & eye, excellent neck & front, firm topline & well set tail, liked his bone & feet, in firm condition, moved well; 2 Kaal's Dalmark The Sandman at Schunikka, liver spotted, very attractive head & eye, good in neck & front, tidy topline, firm quarters, moves well. Tail carriage lets him down; 3 Markey's Heaven Sent Phreeman Calix with Dalissm.

LD (7) Good class. 1 Croft's Koroyza Candy Man, black spotted of ideal size, very attractive head & eye, strong neck & good front, liked his body development & topline looked good. Well muscled quarters, dense pigment, moved out well & looked the part. RCC; 2 Croft's Doubtwell Show Stopper, black, very similar to 1. Lovely head & eye, good neck, topline & body, firm quarters, good spotting, moved out well & liked him a lot. At the end of the class 1 was more settled; 3 Kay's Kaytian One Kool Kat.

OD (6) 1 Christie's Sophtspot Abracadabra, black, lovely head & eye, very good balance of body, firm in front, strong topline, tail set well, good depth of body & excellent quarters, moved out so well, good drive & an easy stride. Looked the part & an easy CC winner; 2 Burrows' Ch Daedalus Deacon Blue at Shacarlu, very worthy ch, so good for balance, lovely bone & body, firm topline & good tailset, sound happy mover, good spotting & pigment; 3 Lamb's Ch Dalpetro Dettori.

MPB (3) Three nice puppies. 1 Christie's Sophtspot Cha Cha Cha, 6 months black spotted baby with such a pretty face, good eyes, neck & topline, tail set well, lovely shoulders, good bone & feet, moved as a baby can. I thought she was quite lovely & at her first show gave her BP & later took PG1; 2 Stevenson's Dalkereve Divine Decision for Macula, very pretty black spotted youngster, lovely head & eye, good neck & front, strong quarters, moved out well; 3 Fletcher & Coupe's Shacarlu Material Girl at Dalimese.

PB (7) 1 S Cha Cha Cha; 2 Wallington's Holderness Hand Painted, very nice black, lovely head & eye, liked her neck & front, nice topline & good quarters, strong bone & good feet. Just needs to come together but a lovely puppy; 3 D Divine Decision for M.

JB (10) Excellent class. 1 Alexander's Offordale Sapphire, where do I start? Wonderful head & eye, excellent neck & front, strong bone, good feet, firm topline, good depth, well set tail, firm quarters, well spotted, quality coat. Out & back was spot on & profile was wonderful. Sure you can guess I loved her. CC, BOB & G1; 2 Goodswen's Tamilanda Pink Angel from Alphadal, lovely black, pushing hard, loved her head & eye, excellent neck & front, tidy topline & quarters, liked her body proportions, good spotting, looked good going round. RCC; 3 Petersen's Dalimese Who's That Girl at Daedalus.

GB (5) 1 Wright's Boutonneux Artemis of Millbelle, nice sized liver spotted, pleasing head & eye, very good neck & front, tidy topline & firm quarters, good tailset, moved out well & held good profile; 2 Newton & Newton-O'Brien's Cubalibre Polkadot, nice liver girl, pleasing head & eye, good neck & firm front, neat bone, good feet, good body & tailset, moved OK; 3 Cobb-McGill's Kalokairies Eye Candy.

PGB (6) 1 Smallwood's Lascelles Lady Marmalade, liver spotted of good size, pleasing head & eye, good neck & topline, well set tail & tidy quarters, moved well with an easy steady pace; 2 Dodds & Pearson's Kelevra Mercury Rising, black, very similar to 1 for shade. Pretty head & good eye, liked her neck & front, tidy in topline & quarters, went well; 3 Baker's Klarkeson Royal Mint.

LB (10) Strong class. 1 Cooper's Caldecacre Couronne Under Charmindals, black spotted, ideal size, lovely head & eye, scored in neck & front, well developed body, strong topline & good quarters, quality coat, out & back went well & stormed around holding a good profile, looked good; 2 Page's Winflash The Final Magic, black, lovely size, excellent neck & front, good body & firm topline, strong quarters, good tailset, in fine condition, moved well; 3 Smith's Tamilanda Pretty In Pink.

OB (8) Good Class. 1 Christie's Ch Sophtspot Snap Crackle N Pop, black of substance, very nice head & eye, excellent neck & front, good bone & feet, liked her body development & strong quarters, moved steady & showed well; 2 Quayle's Ch Cubalibre Spot On, very pretty black spotted, lovely head & eye, good neck & tidy front, nice spotting & well developed body, went well; 3 Cuthbertson's Ch Kalsidoni Garnet.
