Judge Fiona Hartley said,

"Ch Frankish Desert Trouper, very stylish black, matured well, masculine without coarseness, carrying just the right amount of weight, attractive head, lightly arched neck, well defined withers, well sprung ribs, deep brisket, level topline, well presented in hard condition, flowed round the ring with a long stride.  CC & BOB."
