Judge Lindsay Cutts said,

"Phidgity Pitch Black, very well named as he does have very attractive markings in colour and distribution, slightly taller in type than 1 even though they share the same sire. Outstanding construction and  movement, about 14 months younger that 1 and the age gap mattered in the final outcome, but he will certainly trouble the best with full maturity."
